Barrel of Monks was founded by good friends who came together to create something that has seldom been done in the United States…a brewery making exclusively Belgian-style beer. The focus is on quality – combining traditional techniques with modern technology. Welcoming beer: Single in the Sun – Belgian Single
First Course: Ground Lamb Italian Wedding soup, with a side of fire roasted baguette
Paired w/ Witty In Pink – Belgian Witbier w/ Raspberries
Second Course: Pork Belly Burnt Ends glazed in a Smokey beer bbq sauce stuffed in a steamed Bao bun with house pickled vegetables and fresh herb.
Paired w/ Strawberry Beret – Strawberry Amber
Third Course: Traditional Michigan Cornish Pasty, stuffed with root vegetables, ground meat, and served with a roasted garlic catsup and brown gravy
