Lou Bono opened the door of his first southern style Bar-B-Q Restaurant in 1949 in Jacksonville, Florida. Lou’s recipes and methods of cooking were such a success that they spread rapidly throughout Florida and Georgia. In 1993 John Stiburek opened a location in Stuart Florida and has been a success ever since. Stuart Bono’s offers a full barbeque menu as well as full service catering for any event from a black tie wedding to a good old fashioned pig roast.
